The trip started out with some dune jumping at Honeymon state park

When you get too tired of jumping, you can try rolling down the dunes (avi movie).

The day after dune jumping we ran the takayama (McGowan Creek).

It is a 10k run that goes up about 2,000 vertical feet.

The American Control Conference was in Portland - the Rose City.
It happened to be during the Rose Festival and the Navy made an appearance.
