I went to Japan in April 99 for a Motion and Vibration Control Conference.
The trip was excellent because I met some incredibly nice people.
I met an English student, Junko, who was so nice as to give me a terrific tour of Tokyo.

After shopping, we went to Asakusa to have dinner with her grandfather.
Asakusa has an amazing Temple surrounded by a bunch of shops:

I was in Tokyo when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom:

There is some interesting food to be found in Japan.
