The portable "mini" bridge crane was sponsored
by SIEMENS and Igus. The crane has the ability to be taken apart
and transported. To date the crane has been to Metz, France;
Georgia Tech; and Marietta High School. Currently the crane is
located at Georgia Tech.
The main goals of the crane is are to educate students about controls engineering and specifically the benefits of input shaping and as an experimental tool to test new control strategies. Project Team: |
